This is a camera server installation. This was done while subcontracting for First Security Protection Services.
The computers are custom built by Liquid String. They are dual cores 2.8Ghz with 2 TB of hard drive space and 2 gigs of DDR2. They both have 32 channel DVR cards which are being fed by the cameras on each floor of this condo building. The computers are also being protected by battery backups which ensures that they won’t fail whenever there are power outages.
This project was especially challenging. The camera server installation was the finishing touch on this project. 20 floors with 3 cameras each needed to be wired to the basement level where they are all connected to the camera server.
